Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Service

Library is a member of DELNET (Developing Library Network) for ILL service. Documents which are not available in the library can be requested by the faculty to borrow on ILL by sending an email at [email protected]

 Circulation

Books are distributed to students/faculty upon presentation of an ID Card. Library offers circulation service from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on all institution working days. The students may keep a book for fourteen days from the date of circulation. Students can search the library catalogue (KOHA) by author, title, and keywords for books and journals (latest and bound volumes).

 Reprography

Library maintains Photostat and scanning machines and offers reprography service to the institution.

 Reference Service

Each copy of an acquired title is kept in the library’s reference collection, and the service is provided to patrons. The reference section’s resources are consultable within the library.

 Orientation & Training Request

The PIET Library conducts orientation programs for students at the start of each academic year. By sending an email to [email protected], library members (PIET faculty and students) can also request orientation or training (for subscribed resources) programs.

Telegram Channel

The PIET Central Library has a Telegram channel with the purpose of disseminating information and updates on the PIET library network, as well as sharing digital open access/educational resources and information to the students and teachers of PIET. Visit the library to subscribe the channel.
